Currently our only option to verify changes to custom controlled Documents is to ask a Vendor to generate an invoice and send us a copy.
It would be most helpful if GCs had the ability to preview controlled documents, to ensure the document is what is expected.
This is particularly critical when changes are requested to custom Controlled Documents, to ensure the changes are as expected prior to having our Vendors generate new invoices using these documents.
An additional feature that should be included for custom Controlled Documents is the ability to decide when changes go live, currently they are live in the system before we even see a sample from the Documents Team to approve. This could cause issues if a vendor generated an invoice with a new version of a document that had incorrect changes made.
